The Yule Ball…

The Yule Ball was the most amazing thing I’ve ever been to. It was my first Yule Ball, my third Wrock concert. 

My brother and I were unfortunate enough to end up without tickets come the day of the show. We were desperate, and so we went anyway, hoping someone had an extra two tickets. We asked the person manning the door where extra tickets might be lurking, and he let us slip in without tickets. He wouldn’t even let us tip him.

We were some of the first people in, meaning we were right up front. The guy next to me was spit on by quite a few of the singers. ;) Whenever the DeGeorges went into the audience, I was one of the lucky ones right next to them. One of them almost landed on me, at some point. :P

When I was much younger, my brother and I had gone to a HatP concert, which actually turned out to be Draco and the Malfoy’s first concert ever. Seeing their last concert ever was unbelievable. Talk about closure. 

So. I’ve joined the House of Awesome, lost my voice, and now have the autographs of almost everyone that performed tonight (including the Potter Puppet Pals mastermind Neil Cicierega! If only I got the puppet’s autograph..). 

If you ever get the chance to see the Yule Ball, don’t miss it. You won’t regret it.
