A. I received this question via twitter from @loveofstrings, and I have to admit that it threw me for a loop. It’s easy to see that Whompy and Justin are pretty exhausted after tour, but there’s a positive message here about the state of wizard rock—it’s still going strong!
Tour is officially over and there will be a post-tour merch sale going on soon. We’ll bring you the news here as soon as it posts.
Matt recaps his view of Wrockstock III. Reason #245 why I’m sad I missed Wrockstock:
I think the Willows set on Sunday would compete with Wrockstock ‘08 and Terminus for best Whomping Willows show ever. I played with a 7-piece band and our sound check was our only full band rehearsal, meaning we only rehearsed one and half songs and it was mostly for the purpose of checking levels and whatnot. So the performance was basically 100% raw and spontaneous and I think that was a good thing.
Kristina Horner (The Parselmouths) posted her blog recap of Wrockstock.
