Pub Night @ Infinitus
Thursday Night wrock ended with Pub Night aka The Wizard Wrave which included performances by Witherwings, House of Black, MC Kreacher, Swish and Flick, and Ministry of Magic. At the end of the show Jason Munday took the stage as Skyway Flyer to perform his viral hit “California Dorks” (performance here) and then ALL CAPS came out to sing “Don’t Unplug Me.”
Some highlights included:
- MC Kreacher performing “Black at Heart.” (Forgive me, I have a thing for the Blacks.)
- Swish and Flick performing “My Dad Is Rich (On a Boat)” which is my favorite song of theirs.
- The Ryan Seiler Helicopter at the end of “Lovegood.”
- Squeezable moons for “Lovegood” and megaphones for “Gryffindor Rally Cry.”
- Pub Night lasting 2 hours longer than what was originally on the schedule.
If you were there, what were some of your favorite moments?
Fred (Fred Lives) and Erin (House of Black) teamed up to make a Twilight-based band (Twirock) called The Twilighters. They currently have released one album, “I Live Forever, I Live For You.”
Fred told me he wants to write more funny songs similar to the Twilight-version of their hilarious Harry Potter song, “The Bleep Out Song.”
“Cake” has a lot of humor in it, focusing on Bella’s indecision between her two love interests and how pissed off that makes Edward.
