So, Wrockstock (for those who follow me for Homestuckness, basically, it’s a weekend-long convention/musical festival where all the acts are wizard rock bands, and wizard rock is a genre of music where the lyrics are all about Harry Potter. So, basically, it’s a giant nerd-fest out in the middle…

From now until October 27, Wrockstock registration is NAME YOUR OWN PRICE. Information about how to register to get this deal (and a reason for the sudden decrease) can be found in a blog post by Brian Malfoy.
I think the thing we should all understand, though, is that you can now purchase your Wrockstock registration for as little as $1 (though I’m sure Brian would be grateful if you still pay what you can).
If you are in the area, or if you have the means of getting to Wrockstock, YOU SHOULD GO! All of your excuses have just become invalid. (Unless you can’t get off work like me. But if you can get off work, you should go and then submit photos and video so I can vicariously live through you.)
Still need a reason to go? Here are some of the amazing bands who are playing:
Alex Carpenter
Draco and the Malfoys — SECOND TO LAST SHOW EVER
The Whomping Willows
Lauren Fairweather
The Weasel King — HE HARDLY EVER PLAYS SHOWS

For the record: I hate everything in my life that is keeping me from Wrockstock. (Everything except for the people who are coming to visit me the week after, that is. I love them.)
More information about Wrockstock including registration and the line up is available on their website, www.wrockstock.com.
The Mudbloods’ Funeral Song (I’m Not Afraid to Die)
aka that time three hundred people at Wrockstock were all crying uncontrollably like we’ve never cried before

For everyone going to Wrockstock, I ask you two things:
Wrockstock Episode 2 is out. Who is Uncle Carl picking up this time? And what other sci-fi series will Jace rip-off for these animations?
